Presenting Nathan Rothwell

Passionately known as the man with the “Deep Baritone Voice”, Mr. Nathan Rothwell is an actor, writer, producer, acting coach, director, and motivational speaker. He is also the proud father of five beautiful children.

Nathan attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and later graduated from Baton Rouge School of Computers.  Currently he is employed with the City of Augusta as a Senior Technician in the Utilities Department. When Nathan isn’t working for the city, he is actively pursuing his first love as an actor/director.

At a young age Nathan was captivated by his love for the arts when he landed the lead role in the stage play, “Beauty and the Beast” in the first grade. It was this production that inspired him to dream BIG.

Nathan credits Donald Gray, actor, director, producer, and playwright for giving him the ammunition and encouragement to further his acting career.  It was at this moment that he embraced his dream as a young boy to pursue his passion for theatre and film. Nathan returned to the stage in 2012 as a lead actor in the stage play “Is God Working Miracles” written and produced by Eugene Beverly Productions. It was this performance that open doors of opportunities for him as a professional actor.

In 2013, Nathan began working with the Raisin AJ Productions founded by Miss Monique of iheart Radio in the hit stage play “Unavailable”. Years later he performed in the stage play “Double Lives”.  He has also worked with other producers in the CSRA and in other cities that has contributed to his growth professionally in developing his skills as an actor, writer, and director. In 2015, he began working with the Blue Bistro Theatre Company founded by Anthony R. Page. He starred in the stage play “Somewhere In Summerville” and in 2016 he made his directorial debut with an original one act stage play base upon a book he has written called, “It Ain’t Always Him”.

In addition to acting, Nathan has a strong passion of mentoring young men. He has been a motivational speaker for the Augusta Regional Youth Detention Center, Augusta State Medical Prison and various churches in the CSRA. Also, he was given the opportunity to serve as one of the speakers at the 2016 Georgia Theatre Conference for students throughout the state that inspires to become an actor.
